And away we go!

I decided to host a portrait party with one of my mom's groups.  Unfortunately, only one mom was able to make it, but we sure did have fun.  I'll definitely be doing this again! Meet Ella.  She's 3 1/2 going on 15.  Aren't they all? 

Then there's her little brother, Ethan.  He wasn't too sure about getting his pictures done, but he sure was a trooper.  He loved playing with the rocks and has quite a good arm on him!  Maybe he's the next Joe Mauer?  Hmmm.

 

I wasn't able to get too many of them together, but we sure did try.  They loved holding onto the picture frame and looking through it.  I'll have to try this one again.

Bellies and Babies Wanted (updated)

Can you believe it's July already? Summer will be over before you know it. *Shiver* I don't want to think about that. What I want to think about are babies! Not mine, of course, but yours or someone you know! I'm looking for pregnant mommas or newborns who would be interested in posing for a photoshoot for my portfolio. Maternity pictures should be taken when Momma is between 32 - 38 weeks. Newborn photos should be done when baby is no more than 14 days old. The whole family can get in on the fun, too! 

What I need:  two Mommas and two newborns.  Please e-mail me at rebekah@imageseverlasting.com if you're interested.  In your e-mail include your name and preferred e-mail.  Also mention which type of photo session you are interested in - maternity or newborn.  For your trouble, you will receive a free photo session, 8x10, and 50% off any other prints/products you order from me!

Congratulations to Otto!  He was voted as the cutest pet in my first ever Cute Pet Photo Contest.  As the winner, Otto (and his owners) is entitled to a free photo session, (1) 8x10, and 20 % off an order. 

The runner-up, George, is just as cute.  So, as generous as I am, I'm going to give George (and his owner) a free photo session and (1) 8x10!  I think he deserves it coming in so close behind Otto.  Besides, I want to take photos of both of these cuties!

One year ago, I received a blessing in disguise.  I was liberated from the corporate world.  While the liberation had its ups and downs, it did allow me to stay home with my children and bond with them in ways I couldn't have imagined, as well as allowing me to pursue my dream - photography!

Another family photoshoot

Meet Denise, Adler, and Halina.  Denise is another mom I met through a Mom's group, so I'm thrilled to be able to take some family photos for her.  I had the privilege of doing Halina's two-year photos a couple of months ago and will be doing some sibling photos a little later this summer, so be on the lookout for more from these guys. 

We went back to Holz Farm on a cloudy day.  Both Adler and Halina were more interested in playing, but we got them to focus for some good shots.  Take a look!

I thought this shot of Adler and Halina was adorable.  They are such cute kids!
