I had another portrait party today. Fun, but tiring! The kids were fantastic to work with. They even helped me with some of my equipment when I needed it. The location was spectacular, too. We went to Minnehaha Park - the Waubun Picnic Area to be specific. We hiked a little ways down a hill until we got to this little stream with lots of rocks, a stone bridge, some neat steps, and not too far away an old stone building that boasted it was built by the WPA in 1939. Gorgeous! And the day was perfect. Lots of clouds and shade for when the sun made a rare appearance.
The first family I photographed consisted of brothers Harper and Hawken. It's always tough to be the first ones to go! But they did a great job.
Of course, being the first also meant that when their turn was over, they could play!
Next it was brothers and sister Noah, Eli, and Bella. I loved their brown outfits! Poor Eli was a little tired, so we had a hard time keeping him happy. The pictures of the three of them turned out so cute, though!
Harrison was next. He was an absolute joy to photograph. Such a big personality!
It was his idea to sit on top of the railing by the steps. Great idea, Harrison!
My niece and nephew were there as well. I'm so glad I got to spend some time with them as well as capture some great pictures. They are too much fun!
I also got to try my hand at another picture in picture. I just love the way these turn out!
And finally, I got to end my afternoon with Chase and Ella. I had so much fun playing around with some different poses with them. They all turned out so adorable, too!
And I just had to do another feet picture. I'm loving these, too!
Oh, and before I go, I should announce the winner of the free print. Drum roll please................................
The winners are Noah, Eli, and Bella!!!!! Congratulations! I'll be in touch with more information. Thanks again to everyone who came out for some fun at the park and for being such good sports about getting your pictures taken.
