Freedom Sale!

One year ago, I received a blessing in disguise.  I was liberated from the corporate world.  While the liberation had its ups and downs, it did allow me to stay home with my children and bond with them in ways I couldn't have imagined, as well as allowing me to pursue my dream - photography!

In honor of this event, I am conducting a Freedom Sale on my basic photography package.  For a mere $87.50 (retail value $175) you get a photo session, (1) 8x10, (4) 5x7s, and (1) high resolution CD of all edited images along with a print release.

Act now!  This special pricing expires on July 5.  Sessions must be completed by August 1.

Contact me at rebekah@imageseverlasting.com to reserve your spot today.

Happy Freedom!

Another family photoshoot

Meet Denise, Adler, and Halina.  Denise is another mom I met through a Mom's group, so I'm thrilled to be able to take some family photos for her.  I had the privilege of doing Halina's two-year photos a couple of months ago and will be doing some sibling photos a little later this summer, so be on the lookout for more from these guys.

We went back to Holz Farm on a cloudy day.  Both Adler and Halina were more interested in playing, but we got them to focus for some good shots.  Take a look!

I thought this shot of Adler and Halina was adorable.  They are such cute kids!

Babies, bellies, and big brothers

Meet Rachel, Tony, and Trent.  Rachel and I met through a mom's group and became good friends, so I'm tickled that I could take some maternity pictures for her.  I can't wait until this new baby is born so I can do some newborn photos, too.  It should be pretty soon!

We went to Holz Farm Park in Eagan, which provided a beautiful backdrop for the photos.  Trent was a little preoccupied by the chickens living on the farm, but we were able to call him away from time to time to do his big brother duty.

There were so many cute pictures, I couldn't just choose one or two to feature.  So, you get to see a bunch!  And stay tuned for some more of this family after baby is born!

Congratulations to the Family/Couple Contest Winner!

Remember that contest I posted a few weeks back?  I was looking for families or couples to help round out my portfolio.  Well, I found someone!  Emily heard about me from her sister-in-law.  She sent an e-mail stating that she and her husband of just over a year would love to have some photos taken of them and of their family which includes Daphne, their one year old chocolate lab/german short hair mix.  They get a free photo session and an 8x10!

Congratulations to Emily and her family!  I'll be in touch as to scheduling a shoot.

And the party continues

I had another portrait party today.  Fun, but tiring!  The kids were fantastic to work with.  They even helped me with some of my equipment when I needed it.  The location was spectacular, too.  We went to Minnehaha Park - the Waubun Picnic Area to be specific.  We hiked a little ways down a hill until we got to this little stream with lots of rocks, a stone bridge, some neat steps, and not too far away an old stone building that boasted it was built by the WPA in 1939.  Gorgeous!  And the day was perfect.  Lots of clouds and shade for when the sun made a rare appearance.

The first family I photographed consisted of brothers Harper and Hawken.  It's always tough to be the first ones to go!  But they did a great job.

Of course, being the first also meant that when their turn was over, they could play!

Next it was brothers and sister Noah, Eli, and Bella. I loved their brown outfits! Poor Eli was a little tired, so we had a hard time keeping him happy. The pictures of the three of them turned out so cute, though!

Harrison was next. He was an absolute joy to photograph. Such a big personality!

It was his idea to sit on top of the railing by the steps. Great idea, Harrison!

My niece and nephew were there as well. I'm so glad I got to spend some time with them as well as capture some great pictures. They are too much fun!

I also got to try my hand at another picture in picture. I just love the way these turn out!

And finally, I got to end my afternoon with Chase and Ella. I had so much fun playing around with some different poses with them. They all turned out so adorable, too!

And I just had to do another feet picture. I'm loving these, too!

Oh, and before I go, I should announce the winner of the free print. Drum roll please................................

The winners are Noah, Eli, and Bella!!!!! Congratulations! I'll be in touch with more information. Thanks again to everyone who came out for some fun at the park and for being such good sports about getting your pictures taken.

It's party time!

I had the honor of taking some portraits during a portrait party for some homeschool families.  The kids were so much fun and so cute!  I can't wait to do some more parties.  See my June special announcement if you'd like to get in on a great deal and a fun time.

Family #1 consisted of three boys - Isaac, Elijah, and Samuel.  Aren't they fabulously adorable?
Family #2 consisted of an incredible brother/sister team - Wyatt and Bria.  They also happen to be my niece and nephew, so I'm a little biased.

Family #3 included two brothers and a baby sister.  So so so cute!  Loved all the blue.  And Dawson, Carter, and Madison had personality galore.

I just had to include a shot of their feet.  Adorable!

And last, but definitely not least, was George.  He was so much fun.

And the winner of the free 8x10 by a random poll on Facebook is..............

the brothers/sister group of Dawson, Carter, and Madison!  Congratulations!   I'll be in touch when the rest of the pictures are released.

A family affair

My parents decided they wanted some pictures with their grandchildren, so the girls and I drove to Mankato to have a photo session.  We decided to get up early in the morning in order to have a better chance of keeping four kids clean.  What we didn't count on is them being hungry during the shoot!  So we made it a quick one and then headed out to breakfast.  We got some adorable shots, though!
