Logan, age 3

Meet Logan.  He just turned three.  And he's one of the sweetest, most serious little boys I've ever met.

He's big into Cars, so we decided to go check out Hot Sam's Antiques in Lakeville because they have a car painted up like Doc Hudson.  He loved that.

And he loved all the other old vehicles and kitschy antiques.  What he didn't like too much was getting his picture taken.  It can be hard to convince three-year-olds that they A) need to sit still for pictures and B) that they need to sit nicely and smile for pictures.  Especially when they are in such a cool place like Hot Sam's.  But we kept trying.  And I think we got some good ones.

Brock and Paige

Meet two-year-old Brock and his one-and-a-half-year-old cousin, Paige.  Brock's Mommy won my August drawing, so she decided to get some pictures of the kids (as well as a couple with herself and Grandma).  We went to this cute little park outside of Nerstrand and braved the hordes of mosquitos to get to this awesome footbridge and creek.  And even though I'm covered in mosquito bites, I sure enjoyed photographing these two little cuties!

Happy Birthday, Little Lady!

I had the honor and privilege of photographing two little ones who are just about to turn one.  You met Gavin earlier.  Now it's time to meet Mia.  She's a little princess!  I got the biggest kick out of her.  She wanted to be all serious for the camera, too, until everyone started acting goofy - especially Daddy and Grandpa.  Boy, did she light up at them!
Don't you just love the look of pudgy babies?

Miss Emily

Emily is just about to turn three.  But of course, she's really going on 13.  At least she thinks so!  An independent soul with a stubborn streak.  She really was not in the mood to smile for pictures (until Mommy promised she could dip her toes in the water), but that's OK.  She is beautiful when she's serious looking.

Happy Birthday, Little Man!

What do you get when you take an almost one year old, combine that with the ability to move, and lots of fun steps and places to explore?  You get Gavin!  He was so busy exploring his world he could have cared less about getting some pictures taken.  But we persevered and got some great shots!  He'll be a mover and a shaker later - I'm sure of that!

'Tis the Season

I know this will sound strange, but I'm kind of missing the cooler weather we were having.  As much fun as the summer is and the fact that winter seems to last forever, I like cooler weather.  Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year - the crisp air, the crunchy leaves, and the pretty colors.  But even though summer isn't finished with us yet, it is time to think about those holiday cards.  I'm already stockpiling photos as possible card winners, so why shouldn't you?

There are several ways I can help you with your holiday cards.

1)  You could book a basic package and receive (1) 8 x 10 print, (4) 5 x 7 prints, and a high resolution CD containing your 20 favorite images for $175.

2)  You could book my holiday package and receive (1) 8 x 10 print, (4) 5 x 7 prints, 8 wallets, 25 custom holiday cards, and a set of three mini-accordian bragbooks for $200.  Any additional prints/products would be 10% off as well.

3)  Or you could sign up for one of my mini-sessions.  For $75 you would receive a 30 minute session, (1) 8x10, 8 wallets, and 25 custom holiday cards.  You would also recieve 10% off any additional prints/products.

There are two mini-sessions from which you can choose.  The first one will be held on September 18 from 1 - 5 pm at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Sanctuary.  If you're looking for a more natural setting, this would be the session for you.  The second will be held on October 9 from 11 am - 3:00 pm at the Mill City ruins.  If you like the more urban look, then the second session would be right for you.  And to top it all off, everyone who books a mini-session will be put into a drawing to win a set of mini-accordian bragbooks AND a CD containing 5 of your favorite images!  'Tis the season to give afterall.

Design Team Call

I'm looking for a few good designers willing to trade some design work for photos.  I'm looking to spruce up the design tab on my website by offering announcements, holiday cards, other cards, etc, but need people to help design them!  If you're interested in being part of the Images Everlasting - Photography and Digital Design team, send me an e-mail (rebekah@imageseverlasting.com) with your name, number, and what you'd be interested in designing, and we'll see what we can collaborate on.  I'll pay you in pictures!  :)  We'll work out the details of the trade.  Pass this on to your friends who might want a few free portraits in exchange for their design work!

Ho, ho, ho, it's holiday time!

Ok, not yet.  Not really.  Although I was in the stores today and they're already gearing up for Halloween and Thanksgiving.  That means that the weather will get colder, the leaves will change colors and fall, and the snow will fly!  So now's the time to think about those holiday photo sessions, especially if you want some outdoor pictures.  My holiday collection pricing is available from now until November 6, 2010 to make sure we have plenty of time to get everything ordered and ready before the actual holidays are upon us.  Contact me at rebekah@imageseverlasting.com to book your session today!

Cute pets

Meet Otto....he's the winner of the cute pet contest I held earlier this summer.  One of his favorite activities is to hunt bees.  So I was able to catch him in the act!

This is Roxy.  She's a sweetheart.  Laura, one of her people, was holding a treat just out of reach.  Yummy!

And then there's Lucia sitting in her garden as regally as can be.

And Panic...who panicked the whole time I was there, but I finally got one shot of him...ONE!

Sophie (5 weeks)

I love babies!  I'm absolutely thrilled when I get to photograph new babies because I usually get a chance to hold them at some point.  Now that my kids are bigger, I miss having little babies to snuggle with.  Miss Sophie definitely needed to snuggle, too.  She was all happy and content in her swing when I got to her house, but then the crazy lady with the camera got her out, undressed her, and started posing her.  She didn't want any of that!

Until Daddy turned on the vacuum.  That soothed her.  Go figure.  Just really loud white noise, I guess.  I had so much fun with her.  She's so cute and sweet.  And so little!  Because even though she's already 5 weeks, she's only just over 7 lbs.  I could just eat her up!

Winning Couple

Meet Emily, Ryan, and Daphne...they were the winners of my couples/family contest.  And they're definitely a winning couple!

They were so willing to let me have some fun with their photos, too, which I just loved.  Of course, I had to get some pictures of them when they thought I was focused somewhere else.  Such a natural and loving moment!

And this has got to be one of my favorites from the session.  Looking good, guys!

Beautiful Belly

A while ago I searched for some pregnant moms to help spice up my portfolio.  Jenene was kind enough to answer the call.  I had so much fun photographing her beautiful family and her beautiful baby belly.  Stay tuned for more from this family!  I'll be back when baby is here!

Mariah and Cheyenne

What a day I've had.  Four absolutely wonderful, fun, fantastic photo shoots today!  I couldn't have asked for a better day - well, except maybe less humidity, but that's another thing entirely.  I capped off my day by going down to Northfield to take pictures of a longtime family friend's daughters - Mariah (5) and Cheyenne (13).  To make it even more fun my husband and daughters came with.  We did the photo session in another longtime family friend's garden.  How fun is that!

Mariah is a little princess who loves to dress up, wear dresses, and play with dolls.  She is the cutest, most precocious five-year-old I know.  And looks just like her Mommy!

Cheyenne is a pretty typical thirteen year old.  Great personality and gorgeous to boot.  Morgan and Carol will have to watch out with that one.  With her beautiful eyes and smile, she'll be driving all the boys nuts!

Aren't they the cutest sisters ever?  And a shoot isn't complete unless I get a shot of some toes.

Thanks for looking!
